Why We Built This Site
Kentucky offers several routes to public information, but they are not interchangeable. The Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office may hold a sheriff-created incident or arrest report, while the Bourbon Circuit Court Clerk maintains complaints, indictments, docket entries, orders, and judgments. The Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch maintains the centralized criminal-history system; statewide court-data reports come from the Kentucky Court of Justice Administrative Office of the Courts. Corrections and registry information use still other systems. We bring the available request steps, costs, contacts, and official search resources together in one county-focused guide.

This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Kentucky court, police department, sheriff’s office, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:

- We cannot produce certified court papers, criminal-history records, or rap sheets
- We cannot submit an expungement petition, open-records request, or other filing for a visitor
- We cannot retrieve an official criminal record or conduct an official background check
- We cannot promise that an agency’s address, fee, hours, or phone number has not changed
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Bourbon Circuit Court Clerk, Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, or the Administrative Office of the Courts. This site can explain the route, but it cannot issue the record.
